Gecko Industries (Pty) Ltd is privately owned and based in Windhoek, Namibia.  The company was registered in May 2008 as the industrial/mineral development and mining services subsidiary of the Gecko Group of companies.

Altogether nine subsidiary companies resort under the Gecko Industries umbrella. Each of the subsidiaries are dedicated to the management and operation of the individual mining and processing projects, as well as laboratory and analytical services to the region’s exploration and mining industry.

Gecko Industries focuses on the development of projects in the industrial mineral sector as well as on coal exploration in Namibia.  

The Group recognizes that Namibia possesses excellent potential to add value to a number of industrial minerals, which are as yet still untapped. Engaging in these value-adding processes, both upstream and downstream results in products for which great demand currently exists in the local and global markets.  

The Namibian industrial mineral industry is perceived to be under-developed, but offers great potential for sustainable development, generation of employment and creation of wealth for the nation.
